Beth Cooper

Beth Cooper: Beth Cooper was born and raised in Kailua, Hawai’i. The beach and ocean are her playgrounds. After graduating with a Fine Arts Degree in Textile Design, Beth became a Wild Land Fire Fighter, a School Teacher for at-risk kids in lock-up, as well as middle school students. Beth is now a full-time artist in Maui, Hawai’i.

“I never felt like I was confined to painting the grass green, the sky blue, or cows black and white. I decided, after not much pondering, that color is what makes the world go round.”
Her linoleum cut prints are bold and graphic. Each one individually printed on the press. She keeps busy with her paintings, printing, and backpacking where ever there are high mountains. Her work is found all over~ Purple coconut trees are found in Texas, hot sunny beaches are found in Canada, and tropical flowers and papayas are found in Tennessee and North Carolina to name a few places.
“Come into my world of color! There really is a world where the grass is blue, the sky yellow, and the cows just might be pink.”
