We have a client who has encouraged us for some time to enter our work into the art shows in Aspen and Jackson Hole – two top notch juried exhibitions. Being busy artists who also run a gallery that’s open seven days a week here on Maui, we thought it would be really tough to do!
But last year they sent us two plane tickets, and on the spur of the moment, we took a three-day trip to Colorado. Seeing the Aspen show first hand, changed everything for us. We both entered both shows. We were both accepted into both shows. We have a container full of sculpture on its way to the mainland and are thrilled that we’ve also been able to schedule some family vacation time in these two beautiful locations.
